Detergent powder is used to wash clothes, and it can also be used in other industries.
Using detergent powder for washing clothes
- Add to the right place: Add detergent to the drawer of a front-loading washing machine, or directly into the drum of a top-loading or semi-automatic washing machine.
- Use the right amount: Follow the instructions on the detergent label. The amount of detergent you need depends on the type of water, the type of stain, and the type of fabric.
- Use the right water temperature: Use water that’s at least 60°F so the detergent dissolves.
- Avoid too much detergent: Using too much detergent can make clothes feel stiff, leave a white residue, or make colors dull.
- Use as a presoak: Dissolve detergent in hot water and soak clothes to remove heavy stains.
